i'll have to try a "work around"

 

Special Rules:

 

All Models

  • All Invader Weapons have the Anti-Infantry WAR, regardless of type (yes, this includes AA).

  • Invader Models may not initiate a boarding assault, and their crew are considered Conscripts regardless of actual crew quality, if they are boarded.

  • Active Invader models have the Impervious MAR. Dormant Invader models lose this MAR, but only while Dormant.

  • Every time a Damage Level is passed, roll 1d6 and subtract the number of Disruption Markers on the Squadron, on a result of 1 or less, the model becomes Dormant.

  • Invader squadrons are not removed if they have 3 or more Disruption Markers on them. Roll for becoming Dormant

  • The value in brackets is the Kill Rating of the vessel when it is Dormant.

  • Dormant models cannot move, shoot, use generators or defend themselves from Boarding.

  • Even if a model would normally take multiple hits while active, a Dormant model will be destroyed if its Dormant Kill Rating is exceeded.

  • If a Dormant model is made Active again, it reverts to its “normal” profile. Remove d3-1 Disruption Markers from the squadron.

Drones

  • Drone Pods are deployed as per mines, and until they “hatch” are treated as if they were mines.

  • Drone Swarms “hatch” from their pod-markers at the start of the turn, as a single formation of 6 tokens, and activate immediately. Drone type must be declared upon hatching.

  • Drone Swarms are automatically removed from the table at the end of the turn.

Walkers

  • All Invader Walkers can extend/retract their legs, and may treat terrain as if they were a walker one size larger, or one size smaller than they actually are.

  • All Invader Walkers are Amphibious.

Hiveships

  • All Invader units within 8” of its Hiveship automatically pass any Command Checks they are required to make.

  • At the start of the turn, the Hiveship automatically removes up to d3 Disruption Markers within 8” from its own detachment.

  • If a Hiveship becomes Dormant, make an immediate Dormancy test for all models within 8” from its own detachment.

  • If a Hiveship is destroyed, every squadron in its detachment gains an additional d3 Disruption Markers.

Detachments

  • Hunter Detachment- consists of 1 “Scarab” Hiveship and 1-3 “Predator” squadrons.

  • Harvester Detachment- consists of 1 “Locust” Hiveship, 1-3 “Sentinel” squadrons and 1-3 “Terror” squadrons.
