Are there any pieces from US that could be put to use in DW? How do the models scale next to DW ones?

 

I was looking through the terrain pieces, and a lot of them look like they would cross over nicely.

 

Any ships?

 

I have often thought that while the major military powers could afford all the expensive Sturginium based technologies, the civilian world might easily be plodding along with wooden sailing vessels common in the late 1800's.

 

Also, most of the Iron Dwarves stuff looks like it would cross over nicely. Maybe a merc faction?

I believe that the scale is the same, I know the scenery work well together. As for the ships I'm not too sure if they fit thematically. But with the many and varied affects of sturginium, who knows what's possible.

You could have some fun with Ralguard ships as Chinese mercenaries, perhaps? Devise some stats for them.

Iron Dwarves would be favourite as some monitor style ships.

 

I would be msot tempted by the scenery.

 

I think the lack of turrets on msot things puts a damper on proxying, though some airships could be fun.

I like to put Uncharted Scenery pieces on Land for DW.

The War Tower and the walls are great for bigger islands and lighthouse and battlekeep are fitting great on small islands.

Not sure but don't think templates cross over you should conferm with someone that plays both

and no the templates for the games are different and wont cross over, it gets brought up almost every time someone from DW first notices them.

Well shame on us for wanting them for dw! Unfortunately I noticed them a very long time ago and am still wanting! I'll reserve the right to bring it up many more times and continue to dream as well.

The templates do exist but only for really handsome people oh and Vanguards.

They tend to do the templates with specal offers. I got mine when i picked up the island terrain bundle at xmas. Only problem now is every time anybody plays at our venue i have to take those and my writeable tokens down.

The uncharted seas models could work for older generation ships, like ironclads and wooden hulled ships of the line.
