Really nice painting I don't think Victoria would be very amused at all that mud all over her tankette. Never mind I am sure the RSM will have polite word or two to sort it out before she sees it.

@Mr BPaintjobs, which color schemes?? i don't find the word "purrdy" in my dictionary (sorry i'm from germany^^)

if you mean the normal infantry it's:

jackets: blood red, badab black , blood red, blood red + skull white 80:20, blood red + skull white 60:40, baal red

pants: enchanted blue, badab black, enchanted blue, enchanted blue + skull white 80:20, enchanted blue * skull white 50:50

i hope that is the right answer^^

Purrdy is a phonetic spelling of a southern American pronunciation of pretty.

And, yes, I agree, they are mighty purrdy! ;)

What are the two other box shaped items at the back of the group shot?

Good morning everyone,

today I have finished a locomotive for my DL Setting. I hope it would be an eyecatcher, Missionmarker/ Goal in my DL Games.

The Locomotive is Spur S (so it's called in Germany )(1:53/ 1:50) at first I was looking for Spur 0 (1:45/ 1:48) but they was to expensive, 200€ and more, that's to much for "terrain".

I've paid 20€ for that locomotive, it's from "Stadtilm" a former DDR Company, just a toy not a model.
so I've painted it, here is the result. I hope u like it.

An armoured train? Cool idea, but seems more Prussian, American, or Russian than British. Could just be my factual self! ;)

Why not an armoured train for the Brits? Brunel is stated to be one of to masterminds behind brittanian war machine designs, and historically, he made his name on the railroads, so why wouldnt he design an armoured train? And imagine what it could look like...armoured turrets, internal artillery, landing platforms for hawks and an internal airstrip...

Also, the great eastern also exists in this timeline - it's a fortress ship being used as costal defence... Ugh, new DW modelling project...and legions scenario...

Thank you guys,

Michael is right, the Model is Prussian^^. But it was the only Model what was so cheap.^^

And like I said, iwon't pay over 200€ for a Locomotive, because the Locomotive is just the beginning of the Train-Project.

Having a problem looking for the train (keep getting hits on a certain football team) any chance of posting a link? I presume the locomotive is S gauge?

Thank you guys for your inspiration. I'm still waiting for the 3rd wave to use the modells for the train(hmg).

@von Klinkerhoffen: here is a link to ebay germany. I hope you'll find some interesting stuff.
