Warcradle classic Dystopian age releases wishlist

Since the release of the classics range seems mere months away I have a few things I'd like to see and I'm sure everyone else does too, so giving an impression of the high demand stuff might be helpful.

The most obvious is the KS expansion packs, being cool models with limited availability whose moulds should still be intact.  

I have a few legions requests too, like to see some if the KoB heroes, who are just cool models, especially Not Flasheart and his sidekick Betty, who I very much wanted as a fun female model that looked like a decent officer without going full cheesecake.  

The rest are more speculative, but there were some unreleased models whose renders existed I very much wanted.  The knights templar looked spectacular, as did the EIMC medium interceptor shown.

Models which were only available in 2.0 starter sets would be handy as well - for example Monarch and Regent for Britts.

It just depends on what molds (that didn't go missing) were still viable. Many of Spartan's old molds were either already damaged, or became damaged after they were tossed into the pallet crates.

You must have some preference for things that would you would like released, moulds not withstanding?

Of course I do. I'll just wait until I see what is available, and hopefully we'll see some of the items that were in the ks and/or Northstar (that I got burned on) and possibly some of the  (few) gaps in my collection.

I already have several models that I know will now only see the table as terrain pieces  (Invaders, and a few Armoured models).

I would love to see the models that were in the STO and Canadian forces preorders  that were never made.  I know quite a few people, myself included, missed out on our preorders.  The models looked good and added some cool options.  Other than that I have all the Prussian models except for most of the armored units.  Kickstarter models would be great to bring back as well since a lot people either didn't support it or never got their models from the kickstarter.

One odd request. The STO Saint Michael Pattern Metzger. Its much better than the regular Metzger but was never available. I jury rigged one using an arm from a Metzger but would buy a updated one. The scale difference might complicate  it.

These are less 'sets of things being released and more just the output of moulds as we have gone through the range. There is no intentional order or priority, it is simply a case of whatever is next to hand as the teams go through the various crates and pallet of moulds.  We may never come across the submerged version or the surface version of some models. If it's got acrylic components, that makes it less likely as well. It's basically one step up from a components service, in that we are releasing entire miniatures. Carriers won't come with tokens, for example, just the actual model.

Zak, are the shios in the store the only one that are going to come out, or will there be more classics coming out. A bunch of my group are hoping some or all of the kickstarter ships come out...

Well, "wave 1" implies more releases.

As for what they'll be, it depends on the condition of the moulds after testing for viability.

There will be more Wave releases, which we will announce when the moulds are approved for use  

You are very correct! We have to test moulds for viability, we only want to release items which  meet our standards.

Quick question after reading the Blog post- you mention FA & FP models may be in future waves.  Could Uncharted Seas be included or are those models utterly gone?

Don't forget Uncharted sort of died whilst being updated - most of the factions got new moulds which could create sharp results; but many of the designed were very dated. Dragon Lords come to mind as a faction with very dated designs for many of their ships - very simplistic. The new Mage ships they made for the Dragon Lords were streets ahead; but they never revised the whole line.

 

The other matter is a lot of the ships had metal parts - be they turrets or sails so that might further hold them back.

 

Still I'm hopeful that we will see Uncharted return - undead whales pulling gallions of undead slaves rowing vast ships battling against dragon lords furing magical bolts from vast ballista whilst dragons fill the skies; whilst ships adorned with cannon blast out white hot metal and thick smoke

Very true and I'll be first in line for the relaunch!  Uncharted was the 1 system i missed out on, it was in it's very final death throes when I found SG, so I never had a chance to snag any sets.  I know it's a very outside chance any moulds are viable, but I have fingers crossed some are just so i can paint some.   (dream find would be sky pirates.  "Pie in the sky" dream I know but...   )

Same here. I snagged some basic starters for the games club a few years ago, and made the mistake of deciding to wait for my spare cash to replenish before ordering the updated boxes. They axed the game about a fortnight before I had enough money to make a decent online order.

We are working through the moulds for all games systems and, if they pass our quality tests, we will release them. We're not as far as Uncharted Seas at the moment so it's a little early to say.
