Hello, my name is Dawn, but y’all more likely know my better half, Paul Plunge.  I have been playing, painting, devouring fluff of WWX since the first KS was announced. I jumped all in when I saw Outlaws with power weapons. We have a thing for alternate history, and this has a wildly amazing timeline.

We own every faction, some in duplicate, but my favourites are Union, Lawmen and Confederates (bit of a Civil War nut). My oldest has Outlaws, which I’ve started painting, so guess I’m playing those too! We mostly play at home, but are exploring opening up the scene here in central NC.

My favorite model, though there are many, has to be Abe Lincoln with his shotgun axe. It looks so epic, and I’ve done some devastating things in game with it!

Some day when I find the time, I may repost my painted Union models. Maybe I’ll even get my Lawmen painted...once those Outlaws are finished!

Hello all. Nick here in Chicago.

I only have DW that I play at the moment. Started collecting the models when it came out in 2011 and kinda thought it would be an easy thing to collect a handful of operational fleets and be done with it. Which of course was not the case!

Not many opponents in the area so don't play very much. Mostly into collecting or painting, with the occasional game at my house or a member of my game group's.

I don't have much land. I have huge to really huge naval/air fleets for almost all of the main factions with some exception for the RC. Sizeable fleets for the allied factions and smaller nations but not every model made.

Right now I keep playing PE even though they were a force I initially had no interest in. Just fit neatly with the opponents I had so I have accumulated enough to have the options I like and have been playing them more often than not.

Not sure which of the models is my favorite, probably the Ika. But I am naturally attracted to the airships as well so any of the flying carriers are also up there in appeal.

If I could request anything from the company or the forums, I would like to see a lot more suggestions for scenarios and campaigns. For different sized games and levels of complexity.

Thanks!

Hello All,

Pendrake here. Kind of amazed that the forum has been resurrected at all.

I collected mainly Covenant, Japan, Russians, and a few random models from other factions including some Firestorm ships.

Some of you might remember my Island Maps thread (put "Island Maps" in the search bar). I am chuffed to see it has survived to yet a third! forum.

Howdy all!

EricT here. My stomping grounds are in the US just north of Chicago, IL.  I tend to go around that area if there is gaming to be had. My go to game by Warcradle is Wild West Exodus  and have been dug in since the 1st edition KS.

I have have every faction for WWX, while not all together, and am filling them all out constantly. I mainly play my 1st love the Enlightened,  but also have been trying out others like The Hex and Outlaws.  I also plan to try the others, since I own them, to see how they all work for variety.

It's hard to pick 1 model as my favorite as I love them all. If I have to pick just one I think I have to go with Creation VII. He's from my favorite faction that has zombies that aren't zombies, let's call them breathing challenged, and he was a blast to assemble and paint.

Anything else? Well I'll admit, I didn't really use the old forums that much. I flutter around the facebook groups for WWX much more and contribute to the great community there. Whether it's posting a picture or giving my 2 cents. I'm going to try real hard to be just as active hear as well. It comes down to the community and how great I know it is. The people I have met on FB is great and I'm sure there is more to be gained on the forums as well.

Thanks for reading my jibber-jab. Take it easy ya'all.

Hello all. Good to see the old place back up and running again!

Which games produced by Warcradle Studios do you play?
Dystopian Wars and Firestorm Armada.

How long have you been playing these games?

I've been playing both since their respective second edition launches, although finding a game has often been tricky!

Where do you play?

Anywhere I can get a game in a corridor running roughly from Bedfordshire to Oxfordshire in the UK.

Which fleets and armies do you own? Which fleets and armies do you plan to add to your collection?

For DW I have Prussians, Danes and Poles, and for FA I have a mixed Terran Alliance and Hawker Industries fleet.

What is your favourite Warcradle Studios model?

Haven't seen enough of Warcradlle's designs to be able to say yet, but favourite Spartan designed models are the Danish Ragnarok pocket battleship (such a brilliantly compact design: no wasted space anywhere on it) and the Terran Alliance Tyrant battleship. The designs spoiled so far give me hope that some exciting stuff is coming from Warcradle that will swiftly be added to my favourites as well!

Anything else you would like to tell the Warcradle Studios Community

It's good to be back!

Well, DA since the launch of Dystopian wars xd, been also a 2.0 official playtester. Planetfall instead, for a couple of years.

Where do you play?

Local club and friends houses!

Which fleets and armies do you own? Which fleets and armies do you plan to add to your collection?

Prussian Imperium for da and dindrenzi for Planetfall. With the larger PI, I intend on getting Danes and teutonic knights for sure.

Maybe terrains for Planetfall.

What is your favourite Warcradle Studios model?

Don't have enough knowledge still. Based on my liking, I'd say the imperium sky fortress.

Anything else you would like to tell the Warcradle Studios Community?

Long time wargamer, played most of the GW cancer games and some of the better specialist range stuff. I love historical with a focus on what if's and modern stuff.

Generally a dwarf/gun line guy... You got the idea.

Hi,

I'm Anthony. I've been playing Dystopian Wars (Armoured Clash, also due to the game being split into 2) for about 8 years, and have several fleets (18, in the old rules). These vary from a few hundred points, up to several thousand, mostly around the 10k-mark (with my Americans being over 20k).

I also have a couple of starters each for Firestorm Armada, Uncharted Seas, and Dystopian Legions.

Hey! My name is Keaton, going under my Fleet Admiral's name on the forums. I'm based out of Alberta, Canada. Hit me up if you're around Cowtown! I'm looking for regular players to face!

Which games produced by Warcradle Studios do you play?
Firestorm Armada, eyes on Planetfall too

How long have you been playing these games?
I am very very new to Firestorm, its part of a New Years resolution to get back into tabletop wargaming. The models grabbed my attention, the rules got me hooked. Loooooong time Battletech and Aerotech player.

Where do you play?
FLGS when I can coordinate people to play against. I'll be running them from home when I start building terrain.

Which fleets and armies do you own? Which fleets and armies do you plan to add to your collection?

I play Rense System Navy right now, which was a rough choice for learning this game. Got my eye on building a Ryushi and Terran fleet once the new lines hit the shelves

What is your favourite Warcradle Studios model?

The Specter class Battleship is a droolworthy model. Its the entire reason I chose Firestorm to get into, chose the RSN, and chose the maneuverability MARs to let two of them rocket around the battlefield

Please allow me to introduce myself, I'm a man of wealth and taste.

I become aware of WWX with the Kickstarter, but was disappointed with how it's parent company was treating it. Warcradle looks to be doing strong things with it, so I feel it's time to saddle up and ride the range.

Located in Maryland, USA, near Baltimore. No models yet, but some are on their way, and as a New Yorker by birth and living near the Mason Dixon line, I'm planning to pilot the Union to victory on behalf of these United State.

Hello Everyone

I am new to this forum and I admit to really enjoying the models.

I started buying Halo Fleet battles (both factions) and then Uncharted seas (imperial humans).  I then moved to Dystopian Wars (mainly FSA and Prussian but a little from each major faction) and Firestorm Armada + Planetfall (Aquan and Relthoza because I liked the models).

Which games produced by Warcradle Studios do you play?

Wild West Exodus, and I will be playing the Spartan Games they have acquired as well.  I have been very impressed with the direction they have taken WWX, I am sure we are to see great things to come in the future.

How long have you been playing these games?

Firestorm about a year, my buddy bought me a fleet of ships to get me involved and it worked, and then the company that made the game closed shop.. but now I have a chance to play again thanks to Warcradle Studios. Wild West Exodus I played from KS onward. Great game, and it has only gotten better with Warcradle.

Where do you play?

At home mostly, but that will change since I have moved to San Antonio TX, there is a much better game store presence here and a more active gaming scene.

Which fleets and armies do you own? Which fleets and armies do you plan to add to your collection?

WWX - Everything that the KS put forth, as well as a a couple starters after the KS. Conquistadors,

Firestorm Armada, The Terran Alliance.

Uncharted Seas as well, have most of the factions. Great game!

What is your favorite Warcradle Studios model?

The Aliens in Wild West Exodus, just the feel and theme of them is extraordinary.  But there is a certain Horse Model coming out soon, that will be sure to take that top spot.

Anything else you would like to tell the Warcradle Studios Community?

I am very glad that you have obtained these great games I love so much, and have taken them to new heights and I look forward to all you do. You have my full support, should you need my services, please don't hesitate to ask.

Hi all

Chancer here,  As the old Spartan Community is still closed time I came here to get involved with the non facebook DW community. I must admit in the year leading up to EoS I'd gone a bit quiet on the community as nothing was really stirring my interest. My DW gaming had also taken a hit (blame FFG for that). I still really like the DW universe  and want to get back to pushing ships and saying "Boom".

So to answer the questions

Hello, I'm Colin.

I'm pretty new to these games, but I've played a little bit of Dystopian Wars.  I've got small forces of Prussians and Covenant.

I'm also a big fan of space ships, and am looking forward to see what happens with Firestorm. So far I have Directorate, Aquan, and Relthoza fleets, of various sizes, but have just barely started painting.

I'm located in Boulder, Colorado and am actively seeking opponents.
