Some comments were posted in another thread on some out-of-print models that people would like to see come back. Made me curious, if you could get get Spartan to reissue something, what out-of-print or hard-to-find model would you like to see? I'm not saying that any of these can or should come back; just a fun little exercise to see what models people are trying to chase down. It's been so serious and tense around here (I know, I'm at the center of it ) so maybe a lighter topic will tide everyone over for the next little while. We stopped that model because of manufacturing complexities, but it would be most cool to bring it back. I'd want to revisit the 'tendrils' and make sure we did a better job on them for folk. I have also been drooling over the Templars and would like to see them and the Apollo and Razorthorn updated. And I have a friend whose been looking for the medusa ever since he first saw a picture of it. The Conquerer would be a good one too. That all I can think of, For now. The Civilian Ships - everyone could use these for scenarios and I'm sure they'd help bolster the sales of future campaign books. Dimensional Gate and Anethama Probe - Again, these would be useful for campaigns for those that do not wish to order the Overseer box set (such as me, I don't like Directorate) Saurian Battleships Station - I know it's new and a Kickstarter model but I'd purchase it separately if I could. Saurian Battle Station is a tricky one as it is exclusive to the Kickstarter - doesn't mean we won't make different ones for retail. It is, however, available as an Add-On and folk can grab it easily at a great price. Dimensional Gate and Probe - they are literally going up on the KS as freebies Backers this week. Medusa is about to appear on the KS (see the Aquan Battle Force when it goes online). Civilian Ships are on the KS already. Have a look at the KS Add-ons later this week. You may be pleased. Doomkitten Posted August 16, 2017 Report Share Posted August 16, 2017 I dare say that after adding thirty pounds for postage, not-Europe people won't consider a Saurian Battle Station as grabbable "easily at a great price". On ship news, just keep the current range in production and don't "update" the style so that new ships look wrong compared to 2.0 stuff. Also, no more scale creep causing increasingly larger ships. That's more important than any older stuff coming back. After that's ensured, bring the old Sorylian ships back. I own at least one of every ship produced (to market) for this game....and in a few situations paid a pretty penny to wrestle rare OOP models from their previous owners (yes I was ripped off okay....but an obsession is an obsession!).
