Rof - The First Models (Picture Heavy)

Recommended Posts

Hi everybody. Since the forum is back online, i wanted to show the first pictures of my French fleet. I used a light blue gray, as i think it would be a good base color for France. However painting was more difficult then i thought. Anyhow, here the first images. (unforunatly there is a bit too much flash and they are a bit blurry)

I second the diluting your paints paints with a little water to achieve a more smooth color and texture, but still a great paint sceme. The yellow decking contrasts with the white hull nicely giving a wonderful look and I bet they look fantastic on the table. Keep em coming!

I have to admit that the pictures aren't really great. However, i made better ones but realised that there are still lots of paintig failures on the models so i think i will leave it that was for the time being until i have applied a better paintjob..

I made a much better picture of the Marseille cruiser today with daylight available. While still not my best paintjob it shows the colors as they are and not with the brithenig thanks to the camera flash...
