100pts is a squadron of Zerstorer bombers.

Or use the 185pts for a Sturmbringer with a single Wachter escort.

I was thinking about that too but the sturmbringer seems a bit fragile?  Would it be able to survive the torpedo salvo from tje kob?

So whats your current list then? If you have enough airpower I would suggest another heavy to deal with the surrounding KoB fleet or another Adler if available. Perhaps some medium blimps?

Well, for a start, the Prussian battlescribe files have never been fully updated, since the Wachter is costed at 25pts in the program files, instead of 20pts it should be.

 

Second, I wouldn't bother with the Tesla on the Kaiser Karl. It really doesn't need it and it's a waste of a perfectly good turret slot. 

Let the dreadnought take the lead with it following behind for a one, two punch.

Yeah that was one of the things that i have been considering.  

So which one do you like better?  Beschutzer or havels?

I prefer the Beschtuzer myself. Gives the battlecruiser more threat potential and a boost to it's broadsides. 

 

The Havels are ok as well, but i only bring them when i dont have other carriers in the list.

Ooops,  just realized i havent replied to this thread. 

Yes the Prussian won! Windsor took on a ridiculous amount sas bombing(7 dive bombing) runs,  3 imperium bombing runs,  multiple volleys from the blucher and kaiser karl before it went down.  The KK had like only 1 HP left,  while the blucher was knocked down to 4 hp.  

It was nasty,  the windsor really deserve its nickname,  the MOP.  

A couple of things we agreed with my opponent,  he had a wrong deployment of tribal cruisers,  as he used it to intercept my flanking arminius squad. if nt the was a good chance that the windsor might have even survived the game and i wouks be losing the blucher and KK instead. 

Overall,  quite a good battle.  I learned to fear the volleyguns from the MOP and those large cannons on it.  XD

Yes, I had a similar bit of advice on a different thread about the MOP. Max dive PE Dive Bombers wreck it. 2.5 just made it easier to throw them into the thresher. That is an impressive number to bombing runs, @Zahariel, hat's off to you.

The trick here is to let the imperium closely follow up with the rest of the SAS.  That way you can immediately rearm them and proceed to bomb the MOP.  Effectively reducing the delay time between dive bombing runs to be 0.

I have 4 Gewitterwolke comming in and have 2 Imperium currently. That frontline carrier push is right up my alley. Do you also do some boarding to finish?

With the crazy AP of the windsor and also the security posts?  Haha no....that would be a wasted effort imo. I choose to focus on destroying it over boarding as i had the air superiority

Don't forget, AP stands for Angry Prussians. Send them to their doom and they shall emerge victorious....so long as the enemy rolls poorly.

I have used the Windsor recently.

 

It has taken a huge hit. Still nasty but it is now boardable and it's guns can only area effect (making it less horrendous against big targets.

 

It also lost two shield dice
