zaknafn
Was the Directorate player able to cyber down anything? I'm curious what he targeted with his cyber attacks and ARTs. Against a list like that hitting engines early on can split up the leapin lizards. And I'm curious how his bombers did... Looks like a good game though and I love the fleets and table. Zak The main targets were the carrier and its cruiser escorts. But luckily for me the dice were not hot. And me having Experienced Engineers on that ships helped a lot. The best hit was a Main Drive Failure on one of the ecorting cruisers, forcing my carrier group in one direction. I lost a lot of crew to the Life Support being hacked, but could restore them with Support Shuttles. The bombers, and my fighters too, died to superb rolls of defensive fire, but killed one of the shunting cruisers. If i remember correctly, both tokens were left with 2 wings after the second assault run and did not play a role after the second turn.

Brimat
Had another game last friday. Was testing a new list in preparation for a tournament i will be attending. Game was 800 Points; Escelating Engagements. Table was setup by rolling for one from the list http://www.tabletopturniere.de/t3_tournament_rules.php?type=0&tid=15872 I fielded a battleship, two squads of cruisers and a squad of corvettes. The battleship and the corvettes were held in reserve. My enemy brought his bakash to the fight, an battle carrier, heavy cruisers, cruisers and frigates. Nothing strange happened the first turn, both fleets engaging, but not harming the enemy. In round two, the bakash heavy cruiser entered the game. Again, nothing worth remebering happened. In turn three, my corvettes and the bakash admiral entered the table. The corvettes made short work of the frigates on this flank, after that they took course to the other side of the planet, where the big fishs were. All cruisers on the table exchanged fire, doing some damage all around. After that, the pizza arrived and we paused the game and then i forgot to take pictures. In turn four, my battleship arrived, entering the table from the left flank, right in the heat of the battle. Both sides lost cruisers in the next two turns, leaving me with only the battleship and the corvettes. The corvettes stopped an assault from the battle carrier heroically. In the last turn, the corvettes killed the remaining cruiser and the last heavy cruiser. After that the game ended and we were good in time, setting us a 2 1/2 hour limit. My sorylians won with +6/+1 Battlelog. We had a lot of fun, and the bakash player has to find a way to remember himself to lay mines. Yes, my last cruiser was sucked into this evil singularity. No other ship shared his fate. WestAustralian and tansalus
