The battles for this past month...

850 point battle Directorate (225vp) vs Terran/Xelocian (665vp)

1000 point battle Directorate (100vp) vs Terran/Xelocian (715vp)

700 point battle Directorate (300vp) vs Terran/Xelocian (380vp)

650 point tournament battle Directorate (425vp) vs Terran/Xelocian (355vp)

And with that last one tonight Gyrant finally broke my victory streak against the Directorate, and won himself a Directorate dreadnought as the tourny prize! Congrats!!! :D

Finally getting around to posting my last Aquan vs Dindrenzi

Aquan: (510)

Dindrenzi: (330)

Aquans lost a Chronix, Poseidon, and 3 Barracuda. Dindrenzi lost a Conqueror, Gladius, 6 Hammers and a bunch of Escorts (that don't count :P). The bulk of the rest of my fleet was undamaged while his Gladius squadron had 1 other ship that had take a pouding (4 hits) and my fleet was effectively behind his and had isolated his heavy cruisers for a next turn "meet and greet" with the Medusa, Manta and a Tsumani and Chronix at RB2. We called it then. I'll see if I can dig up my notes on the three prior battles (they didn't go so well for the Aquans :P, with much of my fleet being taken back to Dindrenzi space) to be fair.

Will post up today's results later - Terran vs. (Dindrenzi is what I think he'll bring).

Zak

Tournament game on the 4th at Dragon's Lair. Probably the last one due to dwindling players and disagreements over which version to play. Seems like the weekly open play event has also been canceled.

650 points Directorate (370vp) vs Alliance of Kurak (Tarakian, Xelocian, and Brethren) (375vp)

The store owner where I buy my FA says the same thing about dwindling FA players in my area. However, he said it was happening before the appearance of v2.

Had a strange first playtest with v2. Retrofitted MARs and Game Cards were used.

Maximum Fleet Value: 1000 pts.

Relthoza vs. Aquans: 735 vs. 0 VP

Relthoza managed to beat the Aquans without loss thanks to a Medusa choosing not to arrive before the game ended and a Manta giving away its victory points because of a failed shunt. Relthoza also managed to achieve its objective, destroy 50% of MFV and all small models.

Relthoza fielded (995 pts.): Star Admiral present on the Brood battleship

Apex dreadnought w/ 6 bombers

Brood battleship w/ 3 interceptors and three Stinger Escorts (arrived by shunt)

Hive Carrier w/ 6 bombers and 2 interceptors

A Scarab heavy cruiser and two Swarm cruisers

Four Drone Frigates (arrived by shunt)

5 assaulters also arrived as 'Planetary Support'

Aquan fielded (1005 pts): Star Admiral present on the Medusa dreadnought

Medusa dreadnought (choosed to not arrive when not succeding to for three turns)

Poseidon battleship

Manta battle carrier w/ 6 bombers and 3 interceptors (rolled a 12 on the shunt roll)

A Tsunami heavy cruiser and two Storm cruisers

Three Piranha frigates
