I blame customs, weather and international mail.

Weather I understand.

Large shipments I have received directly from Spartan have arrived DHL. It arrived in 5 days and I had no problems. So I doubt that answer.

How are customers the reason Spartan is behind on shipping to the States?

Question about the paper back rulebook, I noticed in a video that it also included a map of the Firestorm universe. I think this is a great addition and would like to know if there are other cool little things they included in the new book that was left out of the hardback version.

I'm about to go to the East Coast. From California. To visit my crazy family. And not play or paint Firestorm (or any other wargame) for a week. Oy.

I feel your pain! At least my mother-in-law plays pinochle competitively. I mean yell at you if you play the wrong card....competitively.

I wish I could get he hooked on some miniature games. That would be a blast!

My mother is actually rabidly anti fantasy and sci-fi of all kinds. I used to have to hide my Asimov the way some teens had to hide their porn. When they come to visit my wife and I and see all the RPGs and speculative fiction books on our shelves - not to mention my painting table and glass cabinets - it's one of those things that would be awkward if I cared...  :D

For comparison; Maelstrom, Dagon, Oannes, and Kraken.

How is the Dreadnought the smallest ship?

How is the Oannes bigger than the Dagon?

Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to paint it because it is gorgeous! But there is some size creep going on. I'm starting to get ship envy. ;)

Oh, got my box! Yippie!!
