Thanks for bringing this back. I had won a box of the priori and wyldborn on BeastsofWar and was just about to start when the game got cancelled shortly after. So it’s great to see this coming back.

Burson_Carpathian got a reaction from 513-Osiris in Line of sight question
I had to check back with Warcradle if my following example would be correct.

Below you see a montage to clarify how LoS in WWX works.

To prevent modeling for advantage Warcradle decided that only the base size is important to determine line of sight, regardless of the model standing on top of it.
Let a base stand on its edge in a perpendicular angle to see your bases "height", in addition to the bases width you create a somewhat 3-dimensional cylinder.
This cylinder is the area from which would be drawn line of sight in terms of height.
That way a deputy sharpshooter would have the same LoS-area as a Warrior Nation totem, even though both models are of different size.

EDIT: Stuart from Warcradle added that the expectation for this rule is that the model can crouch.

No need to, if a rule implies an action of any kind then it would be listed in the rulebook.
I.e. strike (combat action) for a normal action or for example charge (special combat) action.
There are two types of actions, combat and move actions and some of them declared as special move/charge actions.
In addition there may be special rules/abilities on Statcards which describe wether or not a certain ability is some kind of action, like <Sky Leap> for example.
Actions are always described as such, if a certain ability isn't, then it isn't an Action.
Don't hang yourself up on the word 'Special' regarding the 'Special Rules', it's just there to distinct those rules from the 'Common Rules' above.

Dark Council and Compel aren't actions of any kind.
They're just special abilities that cost AP if being used.

Where did you get the models?

If it isn't old stock from Outlaw Miniatures and you got them via the Warcradle Classics range, then you should contact the Warcradle helpdesk in order to get the correct bases shipped to you.
Ruleswise you should use the base-size which is indicated on the respective statcard.

The models on the demotable are still 3D prints, but those in the cabinet are the actual production models, yes.

I just wanted to say hi.
My friends and I recently went to UK Games Expo 2019 and came across Wild West Exodus. We've decided to give it a go, as it look like a lot of fun. Some of us had a demo game while the others watched. My faction will be Hex, though I'm still learning what I can at the moment (more game play may change my mind). Anyone who plays the game and is based in Cardiff, let me know, it would be good to meet others who play the game. Thanks. :)

Warcradle Studios announces the upcoming release of “Bill & Ted’s Riff in Time” board game.

We at Warcradle Studios are incredibly excited to announce that we are developing an official board game based off of the “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure” film franchise in partnership with Creative Licensing.

This new adventure is titled Bill & Ted’s Riff in Time. It will follow the iconic duo as they set off on another triumphant quest through time after the events of “Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey.”
Meeting old friends and a whole bunch of new ones, Bill, Ted, Elizabeth, Joanna and Rufus must work together to put things right and ensure the future is most excellent!
Whether you are a seasoned veteran board game player or a newcomer, Bill & Ted’s Riff in Time brings together a mix of awesomely detailed miniatures plus engaging and intuitive rules to ensure a bodacious time for players of all ages. Players will take a nostalgic trip to 1990’s San Dimas and of course to time periods such as the Wild West, Napoleonic France, Ancient Greece and many more.
There’s lots of work going on to make the Bill & Ted’s Riff in Time board game really special, but as a taste of things to come, we are proud to present Bill S. Preston Esq. and Ted Theodore Logan in all their triumphant miniature glory.

We’ll be showing off the rest of the "Wyld Stallyns" alongside other iconic characters soon, as well as plenty of information on the game itself.

    Name is Nat,
Been playing DW since v1... and was part of the community online team that helped with the transition of v2.0... stopped playing slightly before 2.5 was released due to moving and the new club in Essex had even less players.

Still with the link to the beta test onthe wayland games email thought I'd give it a look, like the look of how the game flows, need to give it a try when I've got time.

    @RuleBritannia

Have you seen the introduction video for LWX by Warcradle and Beasts of War?

During the video Stuart describes some of the mechanics which will included in the new game, such as specialists (the LWX pendant to WWX' faces) joining a unit of some sort of troops choice etc.

I like Plains Stalkers with Plianswalker Crossbows or Gatling Guns. They provide some good covering fire while the majority of your posse tries to get into close combat, plus they're slightly better at shooting with an Aim of 5.
So in addition, you can't go wrong with some Kaga Brothers which you then assign to some Hands units.

    Bonjour,
    - Wild West Exodus.

    Hello,
My english writting is a disaster, so I hope who can understand me...
    -  Wild West Exodus
    - I discovered this universe in the beginning of the year, Following research for vehicles to my Infinity scenery table, I accidentally discovred WWX. I liked the concept and the design. After I reading rules, avaiblabe in French Version so is a great point even I understand english a little, and I couldn't resist. I playing two month ago.
    - In my house, in France.
    - The Order it's my favorite faction. The fight enter The Order and Hex what is forged the Dystopian Age, and therefore WWX, but the "zombie" side it's not my thing so I chose The Order faction and these sacred holy warriors. They are little extremist but I playing Scyrah in W/H I have habitude to vehement mystics And the design of miniatures is realy interesting. In the futur I build a Lawmen Faction and few Outlaws (Conquistadores available in solo miniatures).
    - Tumbler is my favorite model.

In fact this game is nice and simple to learn. And the thumbnails are of very good quality!
