    Line of sight question

I haven't experienced any slow downs while determining line of sight yet using the above method and you're using it for every case, not just for different height levels. If a unit is standing on an elevated position/terrain feature and shooting down on an enemy unit then the "higher ground" rule is applied, furthermore it counts as having made a "get in cover" action.

    Line of sight question

I had to check back with Warcradle if my following example would be correct. Below you see a montage to clarify how LoS in WWX works. To prevent modeling for advantage Warcradle decided that only the base size is important to determine line of sight, regardless of the model standing on top of it. Let a base stand on its edge in a perpendicular angle to see your bases "height", in addition to the bases width you create a somewhat 3-dimensional cylinder. This cylinder is the area from which would be drawn line of sight in terms of height. That way a deputy sharpshooter would have the same LoS-area as a Warrior Nation totem, even though both models are of different size. EDIT: Stuart from Warcradle added that the expectation for this rule is that the model can crouch.

New profiles for Dystopian Legion Troops in LWX?

@RuleBritannia Have you seen the introduction video for LWX by Warcradle and Beasts of War? During the video Stuart describes some of the mechanics which will included in the new game, such as specialists (the LWX pendant to WWX' faces) joining a unit of some sort of troops choice etc.

    Quick and the Dead...

That bit isn't correct since you declare "the Quick and the Dead" before any dice are being rolled. And those dice would be already rolled when your opponent had the chance to shoot with those 3 rifles.

New profiles for Dystopian Legion Troops in LWX?

That's correct, yes. As opposed to the old miniatures, Lost World Exodus will be a 35mm scale system just like Wild West Exodus. EDIT: though you still might manage to put your minis on WWX-plinth style bases (which are a tad higher than other bases) in order to give your models more "height". Maybe you'll also be able to proxy your models with new rules, but don't expect to find suitable statcards for every model from the old range.

New profiles for Dystopian Legion Troops in LWX?

As mentioned by Stuart in a Beasts of War interview they don't plan to do a betatest, since the core mechanics were already tested (-> see Wild West Exodus).

    WWX Campaign Brainstorming

So i copied my post from the Dark Council group and i'm asking: Any ideas for a map based campaign? I'm looking for something where opposing players can conquer towns or regions supported with a campaign map and gain bonuses/reinforcements based on what regions they've already conquered while gaining campaign-points throughout their games. As a bonus i wanted to design a suitable map, but can't decide which theme/region i want to illustrate. I thought it would be interesting for some other players too and wanted to start gathering ideas for such a campaign.

    WWX Campaign Brainstorming

We are currently playing a newbie campaign where you'll earn 1 XP for a loss, 2 XP for a tie game and 3 XP for a win. While expanding our posses in 250pts steps every month you'll able to spend your XP for stuff like additional Booby Traps, Civilians or an additional hands unit (up to 150points).

Hands models, weapons and Warcradle Classics

I don't know about you but those two weapons don't exactly look the same to me. And for the Confederate Trooper: the weapon is called a Heavy Slugger.

    The Third Man Posse

That is currently possible, yes, although maybe not intended. "Sic'Em!: This units posse may include a unit of K9 Automata [...]" You see, the automata are part of the posse and would therefore gain the posse bonus too. Referring to the two posse slots, RAW i'd say yes that is currently viable (much like the <AGENT> unit within the Secret Service posse).

Hands models, weapons and Warcradle Classics

Paint the models the way you like, that's it. I'd be okay with it as long as someone doesn't have a specific model with a special weapon yet. But i do prefer WYSIWYG and would encourage my opponent/fellow players to at least convert a model for that purpose. I'd recommend putting her on a new suitable base (according the her statcard) and maybe put some rocky bitz or similar stuff onto the base to fill the empty space.

    Gun Dogs

Well that's the downside of a great weapon like the Gatling Gun!
