Ended up playing 1500 and did pretty well, a good solid win you're right though, anti boarding would've been fine too -

With no air, not even Local Air Support, nor carriers on the table, there's not much point is there? Or am I missing something... -

Other than the bombardment group, neither of us own any air assets. I've tweaked the list a bit and this is my current deployment: Mississippi mk1 Providence Annapolis with shield 3x Georgetown Mk3 3x Lexington Mk2 4x Augusta 4x Animas and this is where I get stuck. Yale or Guilford. If I take the Yale, I'm 40 shy, Guilford 15 shy... -

I was gonna take my KoB tomorrow against my RC friend, but I might take my FSA instead, really look at the synergy whilst writing my list. -

@from32"withlove I've gotta admit, I like the way you've detailed everything here. You haven't done what seems to be more common place with alarming regularity on the forums: you haven't just moaned! You've put constructive and detailed criticism, but you've also touched on how to start working on improvements. Bravo sir! I agree that the independence has become a shelf sitter these days. I'm shocked that I never realised that the main boats are basically points scaled versions of each other, it made me look at my friends Russian Coalition and I whole heartedly agree. I haven't had a chance to test a few of the units myself, because I don't own them or because of time constraints. But I'll certainly be looking closer at a lot of things now. @Spartan Mike if there are any posts to read from this thread, I'd wholeheartedly ask you to look at these ones closer -
I'd be happy to review them as well if you'd like?

Personally I'd say for your FSA the box set with the dreadnought won't be a bad purchase. Also, the bombardment group is lovely! The heavy bombers are some of my favourite models for the FSA.

I'm thinking a dread would be ok (if a little crazy!) at 1250, more sensible at 1500 plus.

Wow. I'm genuinely blown away by your models here! The concepts are simple enough, but brilliant! I'm curious what you'd do if, for instance, someone didn't like the FSA Freedom Mk2 and the John Henry. What plane would you do as a "counts as"? note: I hate the freedom and the JH!

All the wishlisting aside, my KS arrived this weekend while I was away... finally looked at the FSA expansion box and it's all lovely! Very impressed, especially the Providence -
Kickstarter stuff arrived. I officially hate (read: I'm VERY jealous!) you Russian Coalition types right now! It's HUGE!
